Dr. Esselman has over thirty years of experience in Engineering and Management. He is the President of Altran USA, Inc. This is the US operation of the Altran Group, a global consulting firm headquartered in Paris with over 16,000 employees. He is responsible for operations of the US consulting operations and for leveraging technology to extend market penetration, to provide technological awareness and visibility, and to develop and maintain relationships with universities.
Dr. Esselman is also a Lecturer at Harvard University. He has developed and co-teaches a course entitled "Innovation in Engineering and Science". This course provides a basis for students to learn about the process of innovation and to explore their ability to innovate. This course has been taught at Harvard since 2002. Dr. Esselman also taught a similar course to students in France starting in 2004. He has lectured in the last several years on Innovation in the United States, Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands, France, and the United Kingdom.
Dr. Esselman has a Ph.D. in Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He has authored or co-authored more than forty publications.
